SATAT headquartered in the capital of India- New Delhi-is a national level non-government, non-profit organization founded and managed by experienced professionals from social development/humanitarian sectors, voluntary organizations, corporate sector, universities, research institutions and government with the aim of empowering and caring out interventions for women, children(especially girl children), youth/adolescent boys and girls from underprivileged backgrounds. Satat is a Hindi term meaning continuous. Our motto is 'Satat prayas' and 'Satat vikas' i.e. continuous efforts and continuous development.
The journey of SATAT as a registered NGO began on 1st August 1997 under Registration of Social Act,1860. Since its inception, in tunes with its Vision and Mission,SATAT focus is, and will continue to remain, on empowering Women and Girl Children to take control of their life equipping them with acess of quality education, livelihood/vocational training programs, adult and non formal education programs and, carring out action based research projects.
SATAT run programs for 7 slums in & around Srinivaspuri, New Delhi India. Besides, it runs other programs in different parts of India.
